Plain-English summary of how Chase handles your information. Last updated 1 November 2026.

What we collect

Your account details (name, email, sign-in method), the invoices you add (client name, client email, invoice number, amount, due date, status) and the reminders scheduled for them. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Why we use it

To run Chase: store your invoices, schedule and send the reminders you ask for, manage your subscription and contact you about your account. We do not sell your information or your clients' information.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run Chase: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider (to send reminders on your behalf) and Stripe (for billing). Each processes data only to provide its service.

Your clients' information

You are responsible for having a reasonable basis to contact your clients about money they owe you. We only use client details to send the reminders you set up.

Storage and security

Data is stored with reputable cloud providers, encrypted in transit, and access is restricted so each account can only see its own invoices.

Access, correction and deletion

You can edit or delete invoices at any time. To access, correct or delete your account information, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, email us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
